Many of my walk reports contain links to places of interest along the way, as well as details of nearby pubs and places to eat. There are also occasional pointers to documents giving background information.

This page features links to other walking-related websites. All approved by me!

Fife Walking is run by Susan Beech and features many routes in and around Fife. Susan prides herself on not relying on tried and tested circuits and strives to create her own suggestions from scratch or provide a variation on a well-trodden path. Details directions are given and a map of each route is included. Highly recommended.

Gillian's Walks contains a huge number of route descriptions, including a fair few in Fife. Many are specified as dog or child friendly and Gillian reports her experiences in the first person and includes some excellent photographs. Another go-to site when looking for ideas.

I admit to a bias towards Fife on my pages and the official site for the Fife Coastal Path provides further information about this famous walking route.

The Fife Pilgrim Way was opened in 2019 and offers an alternative long-distance trail to the Coastal Path. It traces the route followed by medieval pilgrims as they landed on the Kingdom's shores and made their way to the shrine of Saint Andrew.
